10 anni di Scenografia&Costume
In occasione dei 10 anni dal numero 1 di Scenografia&Costume, uscito a gennaio 2012, ASC ha deciso di pubblicare un’edizione speciale che raccontasse cosa è stato fatto in questo primo decennio. Non volevamo però limitarci a pubblicare di nuovo gli articoli già usciti, ma volevamo intraprendere una strada che fosse più stimolante sia per sia per le socie e i soci dell’Associazione sia per le lettrici e i lettori del magazine, che possono già leggere quanto è stato scritto finora attraverso l’accesso all’intero archivio della rivista grazie al loro abbonamento digitale. Cosa poteva essere fatto, allora, che ricordasse il cammino svolto con lo sguardo ben dritto verso il futuro? Di certo, non soltanto una summa degli articoli, ma il primo tassello di un progetto molto più ambizioso, che sapesse riscuotere l’attenzione non solo di addetti ai lavori e appassionati, ma anche delle scuole, accademie e istituzioni in generale. Da qui, l’idea di una enciclopedia digitale dedicata a scenografi, costumisti e arredatori, la prima nel suo genere in Italia, che raccolga e tratti ordinatamente il materiale uscito finora nelle pagine delle 24 riviste e quanto uscirà da qui al futuro prossimo. Il funzionamento è molto semplice e intuitivo: grazie ai QR code dinamici, che permettono di essere aggiornati costantemente, è possibile consultare online gli articoli del magazine relativi ai profili professionali trattati nel numero speciale e prendere visione del materiale aggiuntivo che sarà via via caricato nell’enciclopedia digitale. È sufficiente inquadrare il QR code con il proprio cellulare e, attraverso la webapp appositamente creata, leggere l’articolo o gli articoli di riferimento, ma anche guardare bozzetti, rendering, interviste audio o video, foto di scena e quanto ogni professionista vorrà inserire nel proprio “cassetto digitale”. Una volta all’interno dell’enciclopedia online, infatti, si potrà consultare ogni profilo caricato dei vari professionisti e artigiani, a prescindere che siano presenti o meno nell’edizione speciale cartacea, e svolgere ricerche trasversali per temi e argomenti. Un progetto ambizioso, appunto, che nasce a dicembre 2022 e conoscerà la sua maturità negli anni a venire. Il numero speciale di Scenografia&Costume, che permette l’accesso all’enciclopedia digitale di ASC, è bilingue (italiano e inglese) e in versione cartacea. 10th anniversary of Scenografia&Costume magazine
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Scenografia&Costume magazine no. 1 issued in January 2012, ASC released a special edition to tell its readers what has been done throughout the first decade of its publication. However, a simple tribute, passing through the most emblematic articles, immediately appeared to be an easy and unattractive way to celebrate to both the members of the Association and the readers of the magazine, who have a digital subscription and can access the magazine’s e-archive. What could be done, then, to recall the path undertaken, with an eye to the future? Surely, not just the crowning glory of the articles published so far, rather the first step into a much more ambitious project, which could attract not only insiders and enthusiasts, but also schools, academies, and institutions in general. We fleshed out the idea of creating a digital encyclopedia dedicated to set/production designers, costume designers and set decorators - the first of its kind in Italy – which following a specific order, collects the material published so far in the past 24 issues and that to be issued in the near future. Operating is very simple and intuitive: thanks to dynamic QR Codes, you can constantly receive updates and read online the magazine’s articles related to the professional profiles dealt with in the special edition, as well as view additional material that will be uploaded to the digital encyclopedia bit by bit. Simply scan the QR Code of the relevant tab with your smartphone by using the ad-hoc Web app and read the article/s you are interested in, or view sketches, renderings, video interviews, and set photos and whatever professionals will enter in their online account page. Indeed, once you have accessed the online encyclopedia, you can have a look at the profiles professionals and craftspeople uploaded regardless of whether they are mentioned in the special paper edition, and carry out cross-searching by themes and topics. This ambitious project was launched in December 2022 and will develop further and further in the years to come. The special edition of Scenografia&Costume provides access to the ASC digital encyclopedia, and is published in Italian and English, as well as in a paper version.
