BIOGRAFIA
1985 Lieksa ( Finlandia ). L’arte del cucito e la capacità di inventare e costruire, entrano presto a far parte dei giochi quotidiani. Osservando e assistendo i propri genitori nelle loro attività, impara ed inizia a sperimentare creando varie cose, dagli oggetti ai vestiti, segando, tagliando, martellando, cucendo, dipingendo e tingendo. Dall’età di 6 anni fino al 2004 anno in cui consegue la Maturità Scientifica frequenta i corsi di una Scuola Libera d’Arte dove apprende innumerevoli tecniche e materie legate all’arte e all’artigianato. Tutte queste esperienze giovanili, la spingono ancor di più a ricercare la strada che la porteranno nello stesso anno, a decidere di trasferirsi a Roma per iscriversi all’Accademia di Belle Arti nella Scenografia dove si laurea nel 2010 con la tesi in costume “L’orlo dell’anima” - una attenta e ricca riflessione sulla psicologia dell’abbigliamento.
Negli anni dell’Accademia inizia ad entrare in contatto con l’ambiente culturale romano, lavorando come Direttore di Scena al Teatro Vascello sotto la direzione artistica di Giancarlo Nanni, esperienza che in seguito la porterà su diversi set televisivi e cinematografici occupandosi dei settori del Costume che della Scenografia, in questo periodo si perfeziona frequentando dei corsi specialistici dell’Associazione di Scenografi & Costumisti di Cinecittà.
Dal 2009 collabora con diversi scenografi e costumisti come Paola Bonucci ( Fiction Bentornato Nero Wolfe, Rai1 2011, aiuto costumista) e Maurizio Marchitelli ( Show televisivo di Serena Dandini The Show Must go Off, La 7, aiuto scenografo ).
Tra i progetti da caporeparto; “Cattivi” Costumista cortometraggio regia di Enrico Tubertini Roma 2010 ,“ Non è mai colpa di nessuno” Scenografa film regia di Andrea Prandstraller Padova 2011, “Audrey” Scenografa cortometraggio regia di Ferruccio Gibellini Roma 2014.
Si occupa anche dell’allestimento per gli shooting di moda e collabora con diversi fotografi, tra cui Marta Bevacqua, come stylist.
Dal 2013 frequenta attivamente lo studio d’arte OFF1C1NA e partecipa alle attività della galleria indipendente Spazio Y, al Quadraro Roma.
2016 è l’anno incisivo, e della svolta, quando le esigenze artistiche/creative e la voglia di andare oltre, e “per chiudere il cerchio”, la portano ad ultimare il suo percorso di studi con il Master di primo livello nel mondo della moda. 2017 si diploma in Design dell’Alta Moda all’Accademia di Costume e Moda, Via della Rondinella Roma per poi dedicarsi al lavoro sul proprio brand e design del costume per lo spettacolo.
BIOGRAPHY
1985 Lieksa (Finland). The art of sewing and the ability to invent and build become soon part of everyday games. By observing and assisting his parents in their activities, she learns and begins to experiment by creating various things, from objects to clothes, sawing, cutting, hammering, sewing, painting and dyeing. From the age of 6 until 2004, the year when she gets her Scientific High School diploma, she attends the courses of a Free Art School where she learns countless techniques and subjects related to art and craftsmanship. All these experiences of youth push her even more to seek the path that will lead her in the same year, to move to Rome to enroll at the Academy of Fine Arts in Scenography where she graduates in 2010 with the thesis in Costume Design ”The edge of the soul ”- a careful and rich reflection on the psychology of clothing.
During the years of the Academy she begans to get in touch with the Roman cultural environment, working as Stage Director at the Vascello Theater under the artistic direction of Giancarlo Nanni, an experience that later bring her to various television and film sets dealing with the sectors of Costume and the scenography, in this period she is perfected by attending specialized courses of the Association of Scenographers & Costume Designers ( ASC) .
Since 2009 she collaborates with various set designers and costume designers such as Paola Bonucci (Fiction Bentornato Nero Wolfe, Rai1 2011, costume designer assistant) and Maurizio Marchitelli (Serena Dandini's TV show The Show Must go Off, La 7, assistant set designer).
Among the foreman projects; “Cattivi” Costume designer short film directed by Enrico Tubertini Rome 2010, “It's never anyone's fault” Set designer film directed by Andrea Prandstraller Padova 2011, “Audrey” Set designer short film directed by Ferruccio Gibellini Rome 2014.
She also takes care of the set-up for fashion shoots and collaborates with several photographers, including Marta Bevacqua, as a stylist.
Since 2013 she is actively attending the OFF1C1NA art studio and participates in the activities of the independent gallery Spazio Y, in Quadraro Rome.
2016 is the incisive year, and the turning point, when the artistic / creative needs and the desire to go further, and "to close the circle", lead her to complete her studies with the first level Master in the world of fashion. 2017 she graduates in High Fashion Design at Accademia di Costume e Moda, Via della Rondinella Rome and then devotes herself to work on his own brand and costume design for the cinema and theathre.
